It all began with one small puppy…

My dog training journey began in 2019, when I adopted a puppy I named Jupiter. I thought I was ready for a dog. I was prepared to walk her everyday, feed her, play with her, buy her treats and toys, take her to the vets if needed, and give her lots of love and a warm bed.
When she started displaying behavioural issues I had no idea what to do. I went through many trainers, all giving me different advice and reasons as to why she was behaving that way. One thing they all had in common was teaching her commands, focusing on obedience, and only using clickers and treats. I saw no improvement until I reached out to a trainer that specialised in dogs with behavioural issues. My world changed, and it’s never been the same since.
I ended up working alongside this trainer, helping her with her clients, and learning as much as I could. At the same time, I started pack walking, to grow my skills and knowledge on all things dog-related.
I then moved across the country for a job training working dogs for different services in New Zealand.
A few years later I worked at a breeding facility for therapy and support dogs, raising many puppies in my own home. I gained experience with dog grooming, vet nursing, and at the same time rescued and rehomed 30+ dogs.
After years of hands-on experience working with dogs in many different ways, my passion has always been with helping owners. I’ve been in your position before, I get it! I understand just how frustrating, isolating, and heartbreaking it can be when you’re struggling with your dog. I use methods that work – my dog is living proof of this, along with all my clients’ dogs. It’s not just about training, it’s about the connection you have with your dog. The connection I have with my own dog is incredibly special, and I want other owners to have what I have.
I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog – get in contact with me today.
